Since 2007 however, we’ve seen a shift in the automotive world. Brands have changed their focus, and new vehicles have hit showroom floors. Just in the large sedan segment newcomers like the Hyundai Azera and Kia Cadenza have made their way onto consumers shopping lists.
On Tuesday, Consumer Reports released their lists and the newcomer Azera and former champ Avalon found themselves staring at the tail end of the new for 2014, Kia Cadenza.
The Consumer Reports Magazine has been testing and analyzing consumer products since 1934 and has more than 8 million subscribers. Jake Fisher, the director of automotive testing stated that “The Cadenza banishes any lingering thoughts that Kia is just a manufacturer of cheap, unrefined cars. Pulling off that high score requires a long list of positives and very few faults.”
That’s certainly true, the brand has majorly shifted its focus and continues to make large leaps in manufacturing elegant, technologically rich, and reliable vehicles and doing so in an affordable fashion for the customer.
The Cadenza is proof of that, it contains features and amenities of top luxury brands, for much less cost. The ride feels smooth and comfortable, according to Consumer Reports it is, “quiet, well-finished, and spacious. Controls are simple, rare in a loaded luxury sedan. The refined 3.3-liter V6, which is mated to a smooth six-speed automatic transmission, delivers ample power and respectable fuel economy.”
The Cadenza also was recently ranked as the number one full-size sedan in MotorTrend’s “The Big Test” and has received excellent reviews from many publications such as Car and Driver.
The new entry in the Kia line-up is definitely a sight to behold, and you can experience the Cadenza at Capitol Kia. Visit our showroom at 13573 U.S. Highway 183 N. in Austin, Texas or give us a call at 512-583-1900 today!
